How to Join HtH

Do you like to sing? Do you have the desire to grow as a leader? Do you want to make the world a better place?

Harmony through Harmony might be the right community for you!

2024-25 SEASON

What is the time commitment?

​

We invite you to join our in-person gatherings that meet weekly on Thursday evenings between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m., from October through December, and January through May. We will be preparing for two public performances in December and May. There may also be other smaller gigs opportunities throughout the season.

Requirements for participation in our HtH ensemble include:

​

  • Completion of audition and interview

  • Enjoy singing, and able to hold your own part

  • Desire to grow and be challenged

  • Openness to exploring beliefs

  • Alignment with our HtH Core Values

  • Ability to read music is an asset, but is not required.

 

You would likely be a great fit for HtH if you have previously participated in a choir, sung with a church worship team, are an instrumentaliist (e.g. guitar player) who likes to sing as you play, or if you are a voice and/or acting graduate who wishes to keep your skills sharp. 

 

HtH participants do not need to be followers of Jesus, however, they need to be open to the leadership of HtH bringing their Christian perspective to discussions.

Is there a cost?

 

Operating funds are raised through performance revenues, donations, or grant applications.

We will not be involved in any fundraising that comes from gambling revenues (e.g. bingos, casinos).

When HtH does a “Learning & Serving” trip, travellers are responsible for these costs.

Where is HtH?

HtH ensembles (groups) are currently based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We do, however, have a vision that involves multiplying and expanding our network of HtH ensembles to other cities, provinces, and nations!  If you are outside Calgary, and would like to explore developing an HtH ensemble in your community, we want to hear from you!  Please use the Contact Form.
