Reid has always loved singing, has an affinity for a cappella music, and has been a founding member of several vocal ensembles dating back over 30 years. Most notably, he led OnCue, a division of the Youth Singers of Calgary, for 10 years. Reid is an active composer and arranger, and his works have been performed and recorded by several groups and choirs in Alberta. He also enjoys working with other groups and choirs as a clinician, coaching them in preparation for performances.

Outside of his musical pursuits, Reid loves being married to Beth, and raising their three children. Reid also works as a family doctor in Calgary - his patients and colleagues frequently catch him singing in the hallways!
